Timeless Trades: Bitters & Tinctures (Featuring NettleJuice)

Herbal tinctures are alcoholic extracts of medicinal plants. If you have never made and herbal tincture before you may feel intimidated, but the process is really quite easy. In this class you will learn all about making herbal tinctures, including the folk method and the weight to volume method. We will talk about why tinctures are sometimes better than teas or other preparations, how to dose tinctures, and herbs that work best with this method.

Then we will shift our focus to bitters… what are they, how do they increase our health, how to make and use them.

All participants will get to make a bitters tincture in class to take home!
