Timeless Trades: Folk Art 101

On Thursday, April 8th we invite you to join us for another Timeless Trades hands-on class! Our courses go back to the basics, with opportunities soon to "level up" throughout the year. All courses come with crafting kits and chances to hone in your skill. Look for more courses and information to be released soon!

Art has long been a form of expression, not only of one's self but also of the community and culture that they are part of. Join us this month as local and nationally recognized folk artist Eunice Lafate teaches you the basics of folk art. If you can simply draw lines, shapes and colors, she believes that anyone can be an artist! Participants will learn the history of folk art and then have the opportunity to create their own.

Pick-up course supplies at LaFate Gallery at 227 N. Market Street in downtown Wilmington, Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 5 pm. Please contact us ASAP if other arrangements for supply pickup need to be made.
